Working with Family Treasures was a real postive experience. Denise went out of her way helping me organize all the items that would sell. Her reserach skills and honesty put me at ease. Her team was very professional and easy to work with. Denise always answered my calls and took the time to explain anything I was unsure about. My family faced the challenge of emptying our parents’ house so it could be ready for sale. The house was filled with furniture, books, clothing, dishware, household supplies, and more. We contacted Denise and John who explained their process to us. We were to remove the items we wanted to keep from the house, and they would handle the rest. The process unfolded exactly as they said it would. From the beginning, we found Denise and John very helpful in answering our questions, and extremely easy to work with. In a 2-day estate sale, nearly all items in the house were sold. Denise and John removed the remaining items and transported them to local charities. They showed great care in handling our items throughout the entire process. In summary, we found Denise and John to be very knowledgeable, experienced, and accommodating, and we recommend them to anyone facing a similar situation.

Sometimes I get to go with my Grandma and Grandpa to go to the houses an help her get things set up for the sale. When we are done I can stand back and see how much we accomplished, knowing how hard we worked. We like to help people because some people do it by themselves. That’s where we come in!

A friend recommended Family Treasures and they were able to fit us into their schedule quickly. They spent numerous hours sorting through the 50 years of accumulated items and priced each one appropriately, cleaning many as they worked. When the sale was over they were able to find buyers on Facebook Marketplace for several items that had not sold during the days of the sale. I live in Florida, and I was in charge of facilitating the move of my aging parents from Saline, MI, to FL. I was not concerned about selling their house, but what kept me awake at night was the thought of dealing with all the “stuff” that a family accumulates over 40 years in one location. As they were downsizing, we weren’t going to take much, but I didn’t know how we would sell or donate all of the possessions that didn’t make the trip. So I was so fortunate to find Denise at Family Treasures Estates. Though it was a smaller sale, her team took on the task of selling everything – and I mean EVERYTHING – even small items left in panty cabinets. This took so much labor off of our plate and so much concern off our minds. It was such a value to us that I would not have cared if they took the whole amount, but to receive a check after all that was icing on the cake. Further, they left the house in tip top condition for the new family moving in, saving me money on buying a cleaning service. Denise is kind, communicative, responsive, and diligent.
