My family faced the challenge of emptying our parents’ house so it could be ready for sale. The house was filled with furniture, books, clothing, dishware, household supplies, and more. We contacted Denise and John who explained their process to us. We were to remove the items we wanted to keep from the house, and they would handle the rest. The process unfolded exactly as they said it would. From the beginning, we found Denise and John very helpful in answering our questions, and extremely easy to work with. In a 2-day estate sale, nearly all items in the house were sold. Denise and John removed the remaining items and transported them to local charities. They showed great care in handling our items throughout the entire process. In summary, we found Denise and John to be very knowledgeable, experienced, and accommodating, and we recommend them to anyone facing a similar situation.

Sometimes I get to go with my Grandma and Grandpa to go to the houses an help her get things set up for the sale. When we are done I can stand back and see how much we accomplished, knowing how hard we worked. We like to help people because some people do it by themselves. That’s where we come in!

I live in Florida, and I was in charge of facilitating the move of my aging parents from Saline, MI, to FL. Further, they left the house in tip top condition for the new family moving in, saving me money on buying a cleaning service. Denise is kind, communicative, responsive, and diligent. When it became apparent to myself and my four siblings that we needed to sell our Mother’s house of 33 years, we really didn’t know what we would do with all of her belongings. At first we thought we would just give most everything away, after family members had taken what was sentimentally important to them. But the job seemed daunting and if any value could be derived from her belongings, to support her in her current living situation I felt it was our duty to make sure we made that happen.

I thank my lucky stars that we found her and were able to schedule our sale with Family Treasures. The process was still emotional but Denise was steady and reliable and she and John and their staff were terrific. The house is now empty of its contents and ready to sell. But most importantly of all it was done with respect, knowledge, caring and fairness.
